The Light

Darkness falls
People's screams echo in the air
What have we done?
Why this, now?
Where is the light?

Shadows come
Children flee to safety
Where is the happiness?
What happened to us?
Where is the light?

The sun appears
Everyone comes out to bask
Shadows run
Love conquers all
That is the light.
