Book Review: Paper Towns by John Green

Q has been in love with Margo (the girl next door, who used to be his best friend) since forever. Of course, now weeks from graduating from high school, Margo is super popular and Q hangs out in front of the band room.

Q watches her from afar, wondering if he would ever have a chance. One night, weeks before graduation, she shows up out of no where, asking him to be her get away driver, and if they can use his mom's car. Off the two of them go on one crazy night of revenge, breaking and entering (not all at the same time).

The next day Margo is gone. Q is determined to find her, based on clues Margo left behind and with help from his best friends Ben and Radar.

I don't want to give away too much, but John Green does not disappoint in his third book. Q is realistic as worried high school senior, and Ben and Radar are hysterical sidekicks (those who say the dialogue is not realistic never hung out in the band room). Even Margo, while a mystery, is a realistic unobtainable crush. Paper Towns also included my favorite Chuck Norris joke of all time. Not that it changed my opinion of the book, it just added to my laughter.

So now that all the Twilight hysteria is over, read Paper Towns.

That's all for now, I'll see you @ the library!
