Okay, I'll be the first to confess, there is nothing quite like falling in love with Edward, Bella, and Jacob's world. But after you've seen the movie, read the saga and devoured the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun, what's next while you wait for New Moon movie? For all you guys who can't get enough Twilight and are looking for something to satisfy your craving for more, in honor of November here are 11 books (and series!) that may help quench your thirst!*

Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
Vampires meet Gossip Girl, awesome! If you love it (and you will!), read the sequels, Masquerade and Revelations.

Tithe, Valiant and Ironside by Holly Black
Kaye's always been able to see faeries, but when her mother's rock-singer boyfriend tries to kill her that she realizes her destiny is much more than human. Check out this trilogy of modern tales of faerie!

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
When Clary and her best friend Simon witness two boys and a girl (who are covered in tattoos) ruthlessly murder another boy one night, they are drawn into the secret underworld of the Shadowhunters. Read City of Bones first, make sure you've got City of Ashes on hold, and then just try to not get excited for the release of City of Glass in March- both Katie and I love love love Cassandra Clare!

Wildwood Dancing and Cybele's Secret by Juliet Marillier
Magic, mystery, romance, and fairies, enchantments, a few vampires, and exotic lands combine for a can't-put-it-down reading experience! These are two of my most favorite books ever.

Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
When Aislinn finds herself the focus of the Summer King's obssession, she must battle not only him, but the Winter Queen and the Winter Girl. Good thing her not-quite-boyfriend, Seth, believes her when she tells him that not can she see faeries, but they're stalking her...

Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
Best friends Rose (half human, half vampire) and Lissa (vampire royalty) have been on the run for two years, but when they're caught and forced back to St. Vladimir's Academy (for vamps!) Rose isn't sure if she can keep Lissa safe from their mortal vampire enemies, who really want to kill off all the vampire royals, any longer. When you're done, read the next two, Frostbite and Shadow Kiss.

The House of Night series by P.C. and Kristen Cast
When Zoey Redbird is Marked by a vampire in her high school hallway, a new world is opened up to her when she is sent to the House of Night... an exclusive, super-secret school for vampires. Begin with Marked, then read Betrayed, Chosen, and Untamed. Book 5, Hunted, is coming in March 2009.

Tantalize by Cynthia Leitich Smith
When Quincie and her uncle Davidson re-open her parents' Italian restuarant with a vampire theme, her best friend (who also happens to be a werewolf) Kieran suspects that their new chef's red eyes and black cape may be more than just a vampire costume.

Sunshine by Robin McKinley
Just FYI, this one's definately for high school readers, but in my opinion Robin McKinley is the queen of fantasy. When human girl Sunshine is kidnapped by vampires and locked in a mansion ballroom with a single, very hungry vampire, she discovers that when it comes to vampires, not all is as it seems...

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
Werewolf girl Vivian falls for human boy Aiden, but not only does the pack not approve, Vivian doesn't know if she should show Aiden what she really is... Also check out Klause's The Silver Kiss.

And, of course, The Host by Stephenie Meyer
No vampires, but the author of the Twilight Saga brings us another intense love story that can't be put down!

Megan
(who will be starting Tithe by Holly Black over Thanksgiving)

*We don't have all of these books in-house at West Allis, but don't forget that you can get stuff sent here from any library in Milwaukee county!
