Love it or Hate it Valentines Day: The Booklist (part one)

Love is in the air, and to celebrate Valentine's Day (whether you love it or hate it) here are some romance reads to check out!

The Luxe series by Anna Godberson. Welcome to the elite world of turn of the century New York. Elizabeth Holland is a society darling, and is engaged to Harry Schoonmaker, which wouldn't be a problem except that her best friend, Penelope Hays, wants to be Mrs. Schoonmaker. But then Henry meets Diana, Elizabeth's little sister, and what can it be other than true love! Keep reading this addicting series to find out what happens next.

Alice Series by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. This series has been around forever! When we first meet Alice, she is the new girl in 6th grade, and starts to find the ups and downs of life and romance. In her newest book, Alice is a junior in high school! Not every book has a huge romance, but there are the ups and downs of friendship and love!. (For those of you who "hate" Valentine's Day I recommend Alice Alone. Reading the first books in the series helps, but it's not necessary!)

Scrambled Eggs at Midnight by Brad Barkley and Heather Hepler. Colliope is always on the move, her mother brings her from place to place working at Renaissance Fairs. Eliot's life is all about his father's weight loss camp. These two meet one summer and tell their story in alternating chapters. (It also has one of my favorite opening lines for a book of all time, you'll have to read it to figure it out!)

Enthusiasm by Polly Schulman. Julie and Ashleigh are best friends who share a love of Pride and Prejudice. When they crash a dance at a local boys only school to look for their own "Mr. Darcy", will things stay the same when they both fall for the same guy?

24 Girls in 7 Days by Alex Bradley. Jack has no date for the prom, until his so called best friends post an ad for him in the school paper. Now Jack has 24 interested girls, and only 7 days figure out which girl will make the best date!

That's it for today. Check in tomorrow when I share some guy friendly romance books!
I'll see you @ the library!
