April and May Events!

Hello WAPL Teens!

For those of you wondering "what's next?" here's the highlight of the upcoming events @ your library (just for you).

April is National Poetry Month, and we are having a poetry raffle. That's right, starting April 1st come to the Adult Information Desk and pick up your entry form. Write a poem following the rules and you are entered to win a gift card to a bookstore! More details will be available on April 1st.

On April 16th we are going to have a Magnetic Poetry Craft night. We'll have old magazines, and magnets, you bring your creativity! Oh and as an added bonus we'll draw for the poetry raffle winners.

May 14th it's time to take something old and make it work! That's right we are going to have a "Project West Allis" night. You bring your old clothes and we'll have the supplies to help you make them new. Old gym t-shirt not your style? With a few cuts of a scissors, you can have a fabulous new top. Favorite jeans torn and stained? Paint them and turn them into wearable art!

That's just a preview of what we have planning for this spring and summer. Keep an eye open for flayers and program information!
I'll see you @ the library!
