Get Creative Book List: Drama

Day two of the Teen Summer Reading book lists! Today we are going to give you a few drama filled books, and not just teen drama, but acting, actors and plays (oh my!)

Boy Proof by Cecil Castellucci: Victoria (Egg) is a self-proclaimed geek, and throws herself in the the Sci-Fi world of Terminal Earth, her favorite movie. She likes to work with her dad on movie monster make-up, and draws the attention of cute popular Max, maybe she isn't as boy proof as she thought.

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen by Dyan Sheldon: Moving from New York City to New Jersey isn't going to stop Lola (or as her mother calls her, Mary) from being a star actress. Of course, it isn't going to be easy to be the star at her new school. (Oh and if you've seen the movie, the book is much funnier!)

Dramarama by E. Lockhart: Demi and Sarah are brought together by their love of musical theater, and when they both get accepted to a summer drama camp, they know this will be the best summer of their lives. With transcripts of their conversations, and new friends at camp that accept them as they are, this is one book that is not short on drama!

Enthusiasm by Polly Shulman: Julie and her best friend Ashleigh are off to find their Mr. Darcys. To get closer to two boys from the local prep school they join the school musical. Confusion and romance for everyone in this drama filled story.

Teen Idol by Meg Cabot: Take one 19 year old teen idol researching his next role in an Indiana High School, and add one Teenage girl sworn to keep his secret and be his guide at his new school, and you'll get Meg Cabot's hilarious look at high school drama.

That's all the drama I can handle today! Tomorrow we have a few more musical selections!
I'll see you @ the library!
