For all you fans of the Immortals series by Alyson Noel out there, awesome news! The publication date of the 3rd book in the series, Shadowland, has been moved up from January 2010 to 11.24.09. That's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and I don't know about y'all, but I'll be eating my turkey and stuffing around my copy of Shadowland.

And for all you folks who can't get enough of the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare ( who can't?!), three bits of exciting news, just announced on Saturday!! Are you ready for it? Drumroll please...
1) City of Glass is NOT the final book in the Mortal Instruments series after all! Woot woot! There will be a fourth book, titled City of Fallen Angels, published in March 2011, that will follow Simon's adjustment to life as a sun-loving vampire. YES!!!
2) The film rights to the Mortal Instruments have been optioned by Unique Features! No word yet on if or when a movie'll be made, but now that the rights have been optioned, one can be. Midnight showing anyone?
3) With tons of Cassandra Clare input, the Mortal Instruments will be made into a series of graphic novels. So, for those of you who want to see Jace's golden, lion-like elegance, these should be pretty spectacular.
