For tournament play info, read on!

Qualifying Round
Gamers play one race in groups of 4 in the sign-up order. This round will sort you into your Round I tournament brackets. No gamers will be disqualified from this round.

Tournament Rounds
Each tournament bracket will consist of a maximum of 4 players. Each group of 4 will race 1 race (not a Cup) before the next group of 4 plays. Gamers will be racing against the other 3 gamers in their bracket as well as 8 other computer characters.

Depending on the number of gamers, the first 1 or 2 rounds will be double elimination. This means that you'll play two races, each one against 3 different gamers. The average of your two scores will determine your place, and one of every four players will be eliminated (so, if there are 12 total gamers in the round, 3 will be eliminated). Again, depending on number of gamers, the last 3-4 rounds will be single elimination. This means that each gamer will play one race against 3 or 4 other gamers, with one gamer eliminated from each group.

Championship
When there are only 4 gamers remaining, these 4 will play 2 races to determine the Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners-Up!

Controllers
Gamers may race with or without the Wii Wheel. All gamers MUST play with library Wiimotes, however, you are welcome to bring your own wheel.

Track Choice
Player 1 of each bracket will choose the track. 6 Cups have been unlocked, and you may choose any of the tracks from those Cups.

Character and Vehicle Choice
Gamers may choose any of the unlocked characters, and may race with any of those characters' unlocked vehicles.

Disqualification
The following will result in disqualification from the tournament:
1) Excessive trash talking.
2) Purposely disrupting other gamers’ play.
3) Excessive, on-purpose game pausing.
4) Refusing to let the next gamer play when it is his/her turn.
5) Gamer is not present for an unreasonable amount of time when called for his/her turn.

I think that's it! If you have any questions, bring them along - the doors will open a few minutes before 2 PM. See in a couple of hours!
