Teen Read Week: Book Reveiw Contest

Attention all teen readers and writers:

In celebration of Teen Read Week, the West Allis Public Library is hosting a Book Review Writing Contest for Teens. From October 1st- October 31st we will be accepting book reviews from all Milwaukee County Teens. We will have six cool prizes for the winners. Three will be based on quality and will be published on our blog, and three will be picked at random from all of the other Book Reviews we receive!

This contest is open to all Milwaukee County Teens, those students in 6th-12th grade or ages 12-18. Book Reviews need to be 100-500 words long, and be the original work of the teen author. Teens may enter as many times as they want, as long as the titles of the books are different. For the complete list of rules, check out the post below this or stop by the library after 10/5/2009 for complete rules.

We'll have book review writing tips up all month, and we're even hosting a writers workshop to help teens with the book reviews!

Questions? Comments? Concerns? E-mail us at waplteens@mcfls.org, and we'll get you the answer!

I'll see you @ the library!
