Book Review: I am a Genius of Unspeakable Evil and I Want to be Your Class President by Josh Lieb

Oliver is a genius, running his empire from the basement of his parents Omaha, Nebraska home. However most of the world sees him differently. In order to hide his true talents, Oliver plays dumb at school, waiting for the day he can move out of his parents home and publicly run his empire.

With most of the world at his command, Oliver is unstoppable, unbeatable, untouchable, until he is nominated to run for class president. His mother is elated, and his father tells the story of his victory in the 10th grade school election, a victory that changed his life.

Oliver gets swept up in trying to win the presidency of his 7th grade class, including bribing his way on the ballot, making sure that he runs against some one and making sure it looks like a legitimate win, and perhaps for a moment winning some respect from Daddy.

Far from just being a fun title, Oliver invites us in to his world of secret lairs, trained dogs and high tech gadgets as well as his home and school life. He includes plates of surveillance photos, as well as footnotes to help you along in the story.

This is a book for those of you who enjoyed Artemis Fowl, Evil Genius by Jinks or who just want to see a real mad genius at work.

I'll see you @ the library!
