One long weekend, and then it's time for Teen Summer Reading!
That's right, Teen Summer Reading starts on June 1st, 2010. You can come in, pick up all the important information and start reading.
The basics:
1. Just like last year, you read four books, fill in the reading log and repeat all summer long (Okay, from June 1st-August 24th, but that's most of the summer, right?)
2. You can pick up stuff on June 1st, but you can't turn in reading logs until June 15th. (I know some of you can read four books a day, but just keep track of what you read and bring it in on the 15th).
3. Each entry you turn in goes into our grand prize drawing for gift cards at the end of the summer. We are giving away 10 gift cards this summer. And like last year, you can only win one of these cards.
4. Each entry you turn in also gets logged for points to use at our end of summer reading silent auction for books, movies, and other fun prizes. Don't worry we'll give you more information about this on (or after) after June 15th!
Also, information on all the fun summer events will be available as well (Teen Writers Camp and Eclipse Event anyone?)
