Book Review: Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters by Natalie Standiford

Christmas is full of traditions for the Sullivans, always ending with a family dinner on Christmas Day at Almighty Lou's house. Almighty is what they call their grandmother, she's the one who holds the purse strings and the influence over all of the Sullivans.

This year, after Christmas dinner Almighty calls the family into the library to announce that she does not have long to live and that she is cutting the family out of her will, unless the family member who offended her writes a confession by New Years Day.

When it comes to the question "Who offended Almighty so deeply?" there are only three possible answers, Norrie, Jane or Sassy, or "the girls".

Each sister pours her heart out in a confession to Almighty, telling her story hoping that Almighty will forgive and give money back to the family. The confessions involve love, family secrets, and death, but will it be enough for forgiveness from Almighty?

Fun, smart and very honest, The Confessions of the Sullivan Sisters will keep you guessing "Which sister really messed up the most." As an added bonus they hang out in a tower room that belongs to the oldest Sullivan living at home. You'll want to be their friend and part of their family (well maybe just a friend).

I'll see you @ the library!
