Event Reminders: Bucks Read to Achieve and MCTBA

Don't let the cold and snow get you down. Curl up with a good book, a steaming up of coco (tea, or other hot beverage of choice) and participate in some awesome library events.

We're still Reading to Achieve with the Milwaukee Bucks. That's right, you read, keep track of the number of pages, and we'll give you a voucher for a free ticket to see your Milwaukee Bucks. Check out our original post for more information about the Read to Achieve program.

Looking for something to read? Then check out the 15 titles up for the second ever Milwaukee County Teen Book Award or MCTBA. You can read one, a few or all of the titles and vote for your favorite. On April 1st we'll announce the winner, so vote to see your favorite wins. Check out this post for more information on the MCTBA!
Don't forget to keep checking the blog. Megan is cooking up a February program that has to do with cupcakes. We'll have a summer reading preview and some more great book reviews as well!
I'll see you @ the library!
Katie (Still reading the Monstrumologist. It's good and creepy, so I can't read it too close to bedtime!)
