Teen Summer Reading starts on June 1st, 2011; that's one week from today! Starting on June 1st, you can come in to the library, pick up all the important information for summer reading.
The basics:
1. Just like last year, you read four books, fill in the reading log and repeat all summer long (Okay, from June 1st-August 22nd, but that's most of the summer, right?)
2. All materials will be available on June 1st. No earlier. If you can't get to the library on June 1st, just keep track of the books you are reading. Then when you can get to the library (before August 22nd) fill out your reading logs.
3. Each entry you turn in goes into our grand prize drawing for gift cards at the end of the summer. We are giving away 15 gift cards this summer. And like last year, you can only win one of these cards.
4. Each entry you turn in also gets logged for points to use at our end of summer reading silent auction for books, movies, and other fun prizes. More information will be available later this summer!
