Now that's it's August 1st (where did summer go?) it's time to start thinking about the Teen Summer Reading Finale and Prize Auction. This year's finale will be on August 25th starting at 6:30PM. The silent prize auction will run from 6:30-7:30, and we'll have board games, Wii games and other things for you to do during that time.

- You must be at the summer reading finale on August 25th to participate in the silent auction.
- Bidding on prizes will run from 6:30-7:30PM.
- Winners will be able to take their prizes home.
- Points for the auction are earned by turning in West Allis Public Library Teen Summer Reading program Reading Logs.
- Reading dates are from June 1st-August 22nd, 2011.
- The last day we will accept reading logs is August 22nd, at 9 PM.
- Library staff will track teen reading logs for points.
- Points will be distributed to teens who attend the Teen Summer Reading Finale on August 25th.
- Points are non-transferable, and we will only award teens the points they earned.
- Teens who cannot attend the event are not eligible to participate in the auction.
- Teens not at the event are still eligible to win one of the summer reading gift cards.
- For each book read and turned in on a reading log, teens will earn one point to bid on available prizes.
- Prizes will include, but are not limited to young adult books, DVDs, reading and summer theme prizes.
