Teen read week is coming soon, and we are going to celebrate in style this year at the West Allis Public Library!
First off, stop in and pick up the Teen Scavenger Hunt. It's 15 questions, you'll learn something new about the library and you'll get entered to win an awesome assortment of teen books- just check out the glass display case in the atrium of the library! The Teen Scavenger Hunt will run through October 20th, and read this post for more information!
Then, we are going to feature some awesome teen writers next week right here on the blog! These were teens who came to the Writers Camp this summer and submitted their work. Are you a Milwaukee County Teen who wants your work on the blog? Send us an e-mail at waplteens@mclfs.org, and we'll tell you what you need to do!
Finally, we want to show off our new Teen Space in the library so we are hosting an Open House! On October 20th, around 6:30 PM, we'll have games, crafts and other fun stuff in the Teen Space. Plus there will be prizes!
Leading up to Teen Read Week we'll have daily trivia, contests and more. So check back in the library, and on the blog for more information!
