Summerfest is wrapping up - now what to do?  Beat the heat and head to the library next week Thursday, July 12th, for our summer Craft-Stravaganza!  We'll be in the Constitution Room (in the atrium, by the fountain) on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM making fabric bookmarks, marble magnets, duct tape crafts, and painting recycled glass jars, along with any other crafts we can dig up out of our archives.

(Those are marble magnets in the pic above, in case you were wondering!)

We'll provide all the supplies (seriously, we have a TON of magazines and catalogs, crazy colored Sharpies, paint, glitter, funky fabric, marbles and magnets, and more Mod Podge than you need for a 5000 piece puzzle) and craft instructions - you just have to bring the creativity!

We'll also have our teen lit trivia out for you guys to try your hand at, so team up, make a bookmark and a couple of magnets, and compare trivia.  And don't forget, every event you attend is an extra entry into the end of summer reading gift card drawing at the Teen Summer Reading Finale - I don't know about you, but I sure can't read 750 pages in an hour and a half, so what's not to love about hitting up our craft party?

See you @the library!

(Who can't wait to make some magnets from my old EW catalogs!)
