Book Review: Carter's Unfocused One-Track Mind by Brent Crawford

Will Carter is ready to start his sophomore year in high school. With his big movie summer over and a little money in the bank he's ready for a new year of hanging with his boys, enjoying extracurricular activities and spending time with his on-again-off-again girl Abby.

Of course, things can't be perfect all the time. Rumors that Scary Terry Moss is back after a stint in prison are starting to spread and Carter and his boys want to start a fight club so they are ready to fight him when he comes back. Abby is going off to a fancy-pants acting school in New York, and Carter doesn't want her to go (while he totally supports her going, if you know what I mean?) Carter is back on track with all of his extra activities including the football team, swimming and the spring musical.

Fans of Carter's (from reading Carter Finally Gets It and Carter's Big Break) will enjoy the third book in the series. Carter's Unfocused One-Track Mind takes readers through another school year in the life of Will Carter. While Carter may be aging, his maturity may not be up to par. With his sister Lynn, great understanding parents, his friends and Abby he is able to kind of focus, and figure out some things in life are worth focusing on.

I'll see you @ the library!
