MPL Teen Summer Reading 2013 Model Contest!

Do you...

Live in Milwaukee County?
Love to read?
Love great book cover art (that's right, Cassandra Clare, I'm looking at you!)?
Get very, very disappointed when a book with an awesome cover isn't nearly as good as the cover?
Always wondered what it would be like to model cover art?

Then enter the Milwaukee Public Library's Teen Summer Reading 2013 model contest, and you could be this year's face of summer reading!

It's simple - just take a photo of yourself with your face in a book!  Each teen can submit up to two bookface photos, and four teens will be chosen to be a part of the 2013 Teen Summer Reading ad campaign for the Milwaukee Public Library.  Submit your photo(s) between March 1 and March 28, 2013 to be eligible to be the face of Milwaukee teen summer reading.

More info, including where to submit your photos, contest rules, other sample photos featuring the Milwaukee Public Library's Teen Advisory Board members, and a model release form are here.

If you win, be sure to let us know!  Even though the Milwaukee Public Library and the West Allis Public Library are all a part of the Milwaukee County Federated Library System, we unfortunately won't be using your bookface photos for West Allis Teen Summer Reading (it's just a city of Milwaukee deal) - but we definitely want to see them!
