This year there are a whole bunch of awesome YA books that are being made into movies. Some of these are books you may have heard of and some are titles you may want to check out before the movie hits theaters!This past weekend Beautiful Creatures by Kami and Garcia and Margaret Stohl opened in theaters. Witch craft, southern towns and romance? I'm in. Check out the book before you catch the movie!
Don't want to go out to the movie theater this weekend? Well one of my favorite YA books turned movie is now out on DVD. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky is a modern classic and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of the DVD.
In withdraw now that all of the Twilight Saga movies are out? Then March is a big month for you. March 2nd is the DVD release of Breaking Dawn Part II and come March 29th Stephenie Meyer's The Host is in theaters. Vampire babies and body stealing aliens for the win!A new adaption of the high school reading list classic The Great Gatsby comes out May 10th, just in time to review the book before finals right?
Hopefully this keeps you busy until The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones comes out August 23rd, and Catching Fire on November 22nd.
