Teen Scavenger Hunt Starts Today!

Think you know everything there is to know about the library and its resources? Then try your hand at the Teen Scavenger Hunt!

The Scavenger Hunt runs from March 21st-April 19th 2013, so you have plenty of time to search for the answers to our clever clues.

There are two editions of the Scavenger Hunt. One Hunt has 14 questions that will send you all over the library looking for answers, the other uses 10 QR Codes to show you some of the awesome online resources the library gives you access to! Teens are invited to do one of each version of the quiz.

From all completed entries we'll pick a grand prize winner who will win a bag full of books, a movie and maybe some other prizes as well. We'll have a few other surprises to hand out too, including some gift cards and books.

Like all teen programs at the library, the Scavenger Hunt is open to teens living in Milwaukee County in grades 6-12 or ages 12-18.

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie

PS- Not sure what a QR Code is? It's a box of computer code that works like a bar code that can take you anywhere on the web. You will need access to a smart device to do this option. Most smart phones, tablets and even some eReaders should be able to run an application to read QR Codes, so search your app store for a free code reader!
