Are you (Summer) Reading?

It's not too late to get involved with Summer Reading at the library! All you do is read, and for every 750 pages you read, fill out a reading log, and then you are eligible for awesome prizes! Even if you only turn in one reading log, you have one entry into the grand prize drawing and you get a coupon for a free pizza.

Not sure you can get to 750 pages this summer? If you read The Hunger Games (374 pages), The Sea of Monsters (279 pages) and 100 pages of City of Bones, you have one entry! Plus, we started on June 1st, so you can think back to every thing you've read since then. Have to read The Book Thief for school? 552 pages. Checking out Divergent before the movie comes out? There's 487 pages.

Don't forget eBooks and audio books count too- just use the library catalog to figure out how many pages the book has for your reading log.

Like all Teen Programs at the West Allis Public Library, Teen Summer Reading is open to teens ages 12-18 or those students going into 6-12th grade who live in Milwaukee County!

I'll see you @ the library!
