Teen Summer Reading 2013 Wrap Up!

The calm before the Summer Reading Finale storm.

Summer Reading 2013 went fast didn't it? If feels like just yesterday you could stop in and pick up your reading logs, and start reading! 61 awesome teens turned in reading logs and 15 were lucky winners in our grand prize drawing. The following teens took home $20 gift cards to places like book stores, game stores and places on line where you can buy just about anything:

Andrea, Kaci, Manau, Geffery, Rianna, Bella, Gina, Katie, William, Hannah, Jordan, Grace, Chole, Emma and Kelsy.

Three teens took home $15 gift cards for reading to younger kids: Lexy, Sierra and Taylor.

Last Thursday, August 15th, we had 22 teens bidding on 40 prizes, and everyone left with something from the grab bag! All of the prizes went home, and I have to say that even some readers with not so many book bucks went home with prizes due to some strategic bidding!

So now we have a few months to re-group, start collecting prizes and build up steam for next summer!
