Morris Nominees Annouced

Are you always looking for new authors to read? One great way to check out first time YA authors is by looking at the Morris Award and the finalists. The Morris Award is given out by the Young Adult Library Services Association or YALSA to a first time author. in December they give us 5 nominees
and then announce the winner in January.

Here are this year's 5 nominees:

Charm and Strange by Stephanie Kuehn
Sex and Violence by Carrie Mesrobian
Dr. Bird's Advice for Sad poets by Evan Roskos
Belle Epoque by Elizabeth Ross
In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters
