Teen Events: Art, Summer Reading and The Fault in Our Stars

Is it June 6th yet?
Get out your calendars, it's time to think about what awesome teen events you might want to attend!

First off, this Thursday, May 15th at 7 PM we are going to make some awesome art with crayons, water colors and book quotes you love! If you want inspiration search for "water color relief art" and be amazed at the possibilities!

Then, summer reading is on the horizon! If you are an avid reader, or just have to read a few books for school this is for you. For the teen program, every 750 pages you read is an entry into a grand prize drawing, points towards the silent prize auction, and there might just be a free pizza for every one who turns in a reading log. June 2nd is our launch day, and we'll have all the information then.

Finally, who out there is super excited for the movie version of The Fault in Our Stars? I know I am counting down the minutes until I get to see Hazel and Gus on the big screen! On June 5th, from 7-8:30 PM we are going to get ready for the movie by celebrating all things John Green! We'll have book trivia, maybe watch some Vlog Brothers and talk about making the world a more awesome place.

I'll see you @ the library, and don't forget to be awesome!
Katie
