3 Reasons to Join Summer Reading

School may have just gotten out for some of you, and I know the last thing on your mind is what books you are going to pick up. Unless you are thinking, "Now I can read all the books all the time!" Either way, Teen Summer here at the West Allis Public Library is something you should consider doing.

Here are the three prizes you are eligible for whenever you turn in a Teen Summer Reading Log*:

1. The first (and only the first) reading log earns you a packet full of coupons for things like pizza, subs, ice skating and some other pretty cool things.

2. Every reading log you turn in is worth one entry for one of 15 $20 gift cards to places like book stores, game stores and places you might just want to pick up "stuff".

3 Every reading log you turn in also earns you points towards our silent prize auction. This is when we put out books, DVDs, school supplies and other literary type things and we turn the pages you read into "book bucks". This is August 14th, from 6:30-8:30 PM, so mark your calender now!

So whether you ave to read over the summer for school, or can't wait to finally read that popular dystopian series, we have something for you!

I'll see you @ the library!

*So we say "every reading log" and we do mean it, however we will check to make sure the books are real, and the page numbers match. So make sure to read real books, and be honest about page numbers to make sure your reading logs are winners!
