Summer is officially mid swing, and here at the library, we have some fun, free activities for teens, just like you!
Our (mostly) annual Teen Writers Camp starts on July 17th. Come to one, or any of the four sessions we have for teen writers. Whether you are working on your own epic story or just want to be inspired to write something, we'll have activities, prompts and other fun things to get the writing juices flowing! Writers Camp dates are July 17th, 24th, 31st and August 7th. All sessions are from 2-3 PM in the library Constitution Room.
WAPL Wii is on this summer! We have two Wii dates (July 19th and August 23) and July 19th is our tournament. We'll be playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and the top three winners will go home with gift cards to a game store.
Teen events at the West Allis Public Library are open to teens, (those of you ages 12-18 or going into 6-12 grades) living in Milwaukee County.
