Read to Me Contest!

Do you baby sit for neighborhood kids or have younger brothers or sisters? Then the Read to Me contest is for you!

Every summer we want to reward those teens who take time out to read to younger kids, so we started our Read to Me contest for teens. Teens who read 20 picture books or 20 chapters of a longer book to a child aged 0-10 earns an entry into yet another drawing for gift cards!

So use that time you are forced to watch your younger brother to read to him, or make the best of your babysitting hours and read to those kids. As a bonus, if they are doing summer reading, they can count those books too! Everybody wins!

Forms for the Read to Me contest are at the Adult Information desk, and this contest is open to teens, ages 12-18 who live in Milwaukee County!

I'll see you @ the library!
