3:30-5:30 Library Constitution Room
One Friday a month we open our Constitution Room up for teens to just hang out! We'll have games (including the Wii) and snacks, maybe a craft or other activity, and you just show up! Want a place to watch YouTube videos, charge your phone or tablet or just talk with out being told to be quiet? This is the time and place for you!
Star Wars Day
May 2nd, 2-4 PM Library Constitution Room
In preparation for May the 4th (say it!) we are having a Star Wars Day. Okay, it's two hours on a Saturday afternoon, but we'll have everything you need to be ready for Monday, May the Fourth. Make a light saber, practice your Wookie Yell and draw or fold your favorite characters. No registration is required for this event, but supplies will be limited. (And like all Teen Events, this is just for Star Wars fans ages 12-18 or in grades 6-12.)
Author Visit: Jonathan Maberry
May 14th, Library Constitution Room (All Ages Invited!)
Zombies, horror and things that go bump in the night will be featured as we welcome author Jonathan Maberry! He will be promoting his new book, The Orphan Army from the new series Nightsiders! Whether you've read the Rot and Ruin series or just want to meet an author this is the event for you! This will be an all ages event, so all fans of super scary books are welcome!
