Get out your phone, and set some reminders, it's event time at the West Allis Public Library!
First off, FRIDAY FUN is Friday, April 24th from 3:30-4:30 PM in the Library Constitution Room. What is FRIDAY FUN? It's time where you can come to the library, hang out and just be a teen. We'll have snacks, games and you just show up!
Next, in preparation for May the 4th, we are going to celebrate STAR WARS day on May 2nd. Come join us to make a light saber out of a pool noodle, show off your Wookie yell, and share your love of all things Star Wars!
Finally, we have an author coming! Master of horror and suspense Jonathan Maberry is coming here to promote his new book The Orphan Army, on May 14th at 6:30 PM.
Friday Fun and Star Wars are open to teens, ages 12-18 or those of you in grades 6-12. The author visit is for fans of all ages, so get these on the calendar!
