Fancy Book Award Lists

Do you only read the cream of the literature crop? Do you feel like you've read everything that is there, and there is nothing you want to read? Well here are a few places you can look for book suggestions:

First up, The National Book Award has put out their long list for Young People's Literature for 2015. These books are for all ages (and reading levels) of kids, however this year it skews toward older readers! (Including Nimona by Noelle Stevenson!)

If those books aren't to your reading "like" then check out past lists of fancy library lists, like the Morris Award and nominees, and the Printz Award. These winners will be out later this year.

If all that is too much, there's always the MCTBA! What? The Milwaukee County Teen Book Award! Every year 15 books are submitted to Milwaukee County Teens, and you help pick the book of the year! Past winners include The Fault In Our Stars and Eleanor and Park, and this year's list will be available in December!

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie
