Meg Cabot is one of those awesome authors that just about every fan of YA should know about. Why? For starters she has written over 80 books, and one (if not more) essential "Young Adult" series: The Princess Diaries.
Why now? For starters, Princess Mia has made a come back with the books Royal Wedding and From the Notebooks of a Middle School Princess! Now adults and younger readers have new excuses to read (or re-read) the series! Not that adult and younger readers haven't had awesome Meg Cabot books to choose from in the past.
Also, there is this quiz over at Book Riot about Meg Cabot, which might just have you wanting to read some of her books! (Not to be confused with this Buzzfeed quiz that came out this summer.)
So in summary, read books by Meg Cabot! You can find her books in just about every section of the library, and she has books for just about every reader! Personal favorites of mine include The Princess Diaries series and All American Girl!
