10 years ago, on October 5th 2005, a quiet little book about Vampires in Forks, Washington was published and things in YA books haven't quite been the same. This week a special 10th anniversary edition Twilight will be published to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series that launched Stephenie Meyer into YA superstar status.
Whether you loved or not so loved the book, it's hard to argue against Twilight's importance to the world of YA books. From the 4 books, to the 5 movies, and the drama behind Midnight Sun, Twilight is a pop culture phenomenon that helped pave the way for series like The Hunger Games and Divergent.
No matter if you were team Jacob or team Edward, (or if you have no clue what I'm talking about), it's time to read Twilight, whether for the 1st or 500th time.
