Teen Book Awards!

It's the start of a new year, and librarians are busy making their lists of best of and awarding the books they deem the best.

First up is our very own MCTBA, or the Milwaukee County Teen Book Award! Check out the nominees, vote for your favorite, and wait to find out the winner!

Epic Reads is a great place to find out news and fan girl over teen books, and they have their own award! I'm not sure when voting ends, but check out the 2016 nominees, and wait for the winners to be announced mid-January.

The Morris nominees for 2017 have been long announced, but if you haven't yet, check out the nominees for a first time author of a teen book.Past winners include Simon Vs the Homo Sapians Agenda and Seraphina, check out more at http://www.ala.org/yalsa/morris-award.

If that's not enough to keep you reading, the Printz winner for 2017 will be announced Monday January 23rd!
