Books to read...while you wait!

Here are some read-a-likes for some current in demand YA:

If you are waiting for 13 Reasons Why on Netflix try Beautiful Broken Girls by Kim Savage.

Beautiful Broken Girls is the story of two sisters who jump to their deaths, one leaving behind clues behind for a boy. This just might hold you over until Friday March 31st.
Bonus Pick: The Tragedy Papers by Elizabeth LaBan

If you are waiting for Before I Fall try The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood.

A 17-year-old Physics Prodigy gets sent back in time to relive life when things were better. Sounds about right for fans of time bending stories.
Bonus Pick: A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray 

If you are waiting for Everything Everything try Highly Illogical Behavior by John Corey Whaley.

A girl tries to win a scholarship by befreinding the boy next door who won't come outside. If you are waiting for the book on a wait list or the movie on May 19th, this might be just the holdover choice.
Bonus Pick: Zac & Mia by A.J. Betts

If you are waiting for The Hate U Give try All American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely

When Rashad is accused of stealing, Quinn watches his beating by a police officer, who happens to be Quinn's best friend's brother. A racially charged crime is the center of this story told in two voices, which should hold you over as the holds list moves.
Bonus Pick: Dark Nights Bright Lights by Stephen Emond
