Did you know April is National Poetry Month? If you love or just want to know more poetry, now is a great time to start reading! Here are some fun poetry things to check out:
Poets.org is a great place to check out all sorts of fun stuff on poetry. Right now, you can sign up for a poem a day by clicking here. All you need is an e-mail address, and a minute or two to read a poem.
If you want more specific poems on a theme, check out Poem Hunter. I am working on a display, and wanted some spring poems, and this site really helped. Search by subject and you can even have the poems read to you as well!
No so sure about traditional poetry? Then check out some of the awesome novels in verse! Book Riot has a list of 100 YA books in verse, and while I haven't read them all, there are some classics on the list.
Of course, you can always stop in the library and check out all the poetry books on display!
