Can you believe it's May 15th already? This means one thing in library world, that Summer Reading is starting soon!Summer Reading for all ages begins on June 1st. This year we have a few new and different things for all ages, and teens!
1. There will be online registration! Starting June 1st we will have a link where you can sign up and start tracking all the books you read.
2. New for 2017, teens will be reading three books, writing a one sentence review, and turning that in for your prizes. The first prize is a packet of coupons, and additional reading logs can be returned for entries into our grand prize drawing.
3. Speaking of prizes, the first 50 Teens to turn in their first reading log will receive a ticket to the Wisconsin State Fair!
4. What if you are #51? Well, we will have a packet of other tickets for you.This includes pizza, subs and other free opportunities in Milwaukee County.
The Summer Reading Kick-Off will be June 3rd from 2-4 PM, where you can start to "Build a Better World!"
So we'll see you June 1st for Summer Reading 2017!
