He can't really handle all the prom-posals, and well he'd just rather go with his best friend...his grandma. Seriously, this is a book about a guy who takes his grandma to prom, and gets famous. For anyone who is a bit awkward, but desiring fame.
Geekerella by Ashley Poston: Prom takes a backseat to a Cosplay Ball, when Elle wants to win a Cosplay contest put so she can meet the dreamy star of the show Starfield. So yes, this is Cinderella as told though the world of well, Geeks. Give this to your friend who is into Cosplay, and (insert popular series with dreamy actor in the lead here).
