Bookish Distractions:

Happy cold and sunny Monday! Here are some Bookish Distractions!

It's November, so I'm gearing up to make November Cakes, and re-read the Scorpio Races, when favorite author Maggie Stiefvater hits me up with this important story of pirating eBooks. If you can't afford to buy books (or don't want to) come to the library! We have ALL of her books, in multiple formats, that we acquire legally, so you can save some money. As those DVDs told you, pirating is not a victimless crime. (Maggie Steifvater's Tumblr)

On to happier November things, are you NANOWRIMO-ing this  year? If you come to Teen Writers Camp in the summer you know I'm a big fan of NANOWRIMO, and I've even finished it once. Here are some published  YA authors with their thoughts on first drafts, to inspire you to write! (Bustle)

If you want to stay out of drama, and have no desire to write, and just want to know what good books to get, Epic Reads has your back. Here are 14 Anticipated YA books to look forward to! Also, over at Book Riot there are 15 Books Recommended by Teens. These are mostly Brittish books, but there is some across the pond appeal!

Dumplin' is going to be a movie you all! If you haven't read this wonderful book, that I am going to re-read and review for you, come and check it out! Seriously, it's hard not to see these actors filling in the roles so perfectly. (Buzzfeed)

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie
