If you've been waiting since last August for summer reading, then the wait is (almost) over!
Teen Summer Reading starts on June 1st and goes until August 31st. This summer you will count the minutes you read, and earn raffle entries for every 100 minutes read, up to 2000 minutes. But wait, there's more!
After you read 200 minutes (that's just 20 minutes a day for 10 days!) you earn a packet of coupons, including (Drum roll please) a STATE FAIR TICKET! So you are going to want to get that reading in before the State Fair rolls around! But wait, there's more!
This year, we are going to give teens that hit the 2000 minute goal a free book! That's right, all you need to do is read 2000 minutes, and you come to the library and you can pick out a free book!
And don't forget the raffle prizes! This year there will be two, yes 2, levels of raffle prizes. For every entry you earn from 100-1000 minutes, you will earn and entry for some cool book sets. For every entry you earn from 1100-2000 minutes read, you will be entered to win a $25 gift card. Bonus entries can be earned by writing book reviews, where every 2 book reviews will earn you an entry in to the gift card drawing, for up to 5 extra entries!

Reading prizes will be available from June 15-August 31st, and raffle winners will be contacted after Labor Day!
