In preparation for our Disney Random Fandom on Thursday, here are some YA books that are based on Fairy Tales!
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh: In this retelling of the Arabian Nights, Shahrzard offers to marry Khalid, partially to get revenge for the death of her best friend. The nightly stories take a backseat to the political intrude and goings on in the palace.
Curse as Dark as Gold by Elizabeth C Bunce: After her father's death, Charlotte is unsure how the family Mill is going to stay afloat. When her sister makes a deal, and straw turns into gold, the family's life becomes more entangled than expected in this Rumpelstiltskin retelling.
A Kiss in Time by Alex Flinn: After being asleep for 300 years, Talia is awoken by Jack, but a lot has changed in 300 years. Can Talia break the curse in this retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Ash by Malinda Lo: Ash is hopeless after her father's death and is ready to give her self to the faeries, it's the king's huntress who gives her home in this twist on Cinderella.
