September YA Books to Watch For

Fans of YA books rejoice! There are some awesome books coming out this fall from favorite authors, and some new ones to watch. Here are a few I'm looking forward to:

And the Ocean Was Our Sky by Patrick Ness (September 4th) Fans of Patrick Ness should be ready for this flipped Moby Dick inspired world, where men are in a war against whales, told from a whale's point of view.

Wildcard by Marie Lu (September 18) Fans of gamer based books should have this sequel to Warcross on their radar. Haven't read Warcross? You still have time!

Blade so Black by L.L. Mckinney (September 25th) This Urban fantasy take on Alice in Wonderland has been high on my radar since it was announced. With The Hate U Give's Angie Thomas recommending it, make sure you make time to read this one!

Rabbit & Robot by Andrew Smith (September 25th) Did you love Grasshopper Jungle as much as I did?  Then you won't want to miss this dystopian space adventure.

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie

PS- Here is a bonus October book, Muse of Nightmares the sequel to Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. It's no secret that we are HUGE Laini Taylor fans here, so keep your eyes on the blog for an even BIGGER announcement. We'll make official announcement after summer reading. Of course you could always click this link!
