We have two awesome Teen events this September, as well as one AWESOME author event in October that I want to shout from the rooftops.
First up in September we are Random Fandoming again! Random Fandom is our monthly teen and tween event (librarian for "students in grades 4-12"), and September is Minecraft! We've made our shelters, found some potions, and bested some Creepers to make sure you can have some Minecraft fun! As usual, we'll have games, crafts and snacks. This Minecraft event will take place on September 13th from 6:30-8 PM. This event is for fans in grades 4-12 ONLY.
Next, Wii are going to Switch things up at Friday Fun! It's still just for those of you going into grades 6-12. It's still from 3:30-5:30 PM. We'll still have games, snacks, and space for you to hang out. We will also be debuting our new Nintendo Switch! We have a few games that we can't wait to play! Friday Fun will be September 21st and is always from grades 3:300-5:30 PM.
Finally, we are SUPER EXCITED to host Author Laini Taylor who will be promoting her book Muse of Nightmares. It's no secret I am a HUGE fan of her books, and I can not wait for this. This is an all ages event, and there will be more information in the coming weeks! We are working with Boswell Books on this event, and books will be available for purchase. Laini Taylor will be here October 9th at 6:30 PM. Click here for registration!
