Writer's Resorces for NaNoWriMo

Do you NaNoWriMo?  NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, which is November, where writers are challenged to write a short novel, that's 50,000 words, without editing or revising in 30 days. For writers, this is a great way to just write! Whether you want to follow along with the official website, or just start writing on your own, here are some resources for you:

NaNoWriMo: Want the down low on the program? Check out their website! It has details on the program, and a place to track your writing. Bonus, check out the Young Writer's section, which has my favorite tools for teen writers: https://ywp.nanowrimo.org/pages/writer-resources

Writer's Digest is a good place to check out advice for writing, and they are no different with NaNoWriMo. This post may be a bit dated, but the advise is sound. All these tips come from different writers and really, can they be wrong?

Teen Ink: Teen Ink is an online and on paper magazine full of writing by and for teens! Read poems, non-fiction and stories by other teens, and submit your own work. Who knows, after writing this November, you might be inspired to publish!

Of course, you can always stop in the library for wonderful writing books!

I'll see you @ the library!
