NaNoWriMo: What Are You Writing About?

You've had all weekend to thing about your writing goal, and maybe you've started thinking about the story you want to write.

A good story idea that you are excited to write about is going to make the 30 days of writing go super fast, and hopefully make your word goal seem like nothing!

If you need some help, here is a fun on-line plot generator, where you can click an icon for all sorts of ideas. From opening lines, to story twists, and of course plot suggestions, this is a great place to play around when you need ideas: www.plot-generator.org.uk

Starting Wednesday, October 30th, there will be writing ideas in the Teen Space, along with a table set up for any Teens who want to participate in NaNoWriMo.

Taking a little bit of time to think about your story now, is really going to help as you start writing on November 1st!

If you want to join our online classroom, send an email to WAPLTeens@mcfls.org and ask to join. This year, we are only hosting the program for writers in grades 6-12, and if you are younger than 13 you will need to get permission from a parent before you can join.

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie
