NaNoWriMo Young Writers

Are you a writer? Do you wish you could devote more time to writing? Do you dream of writing a
story or novel?

Then why not NaNoWriMo? What is NaNoWriMo? It's National Novel Writing Month, or November, when writers are challenged to write a novel in a month.

So now that you have decided to write a novel this month, check back here on the blog, or in the Teen Space at the library where we are going to have all kinds of writing activities just for you. We even have an online classroom you can join!

Friday we are going to talk about setting a writing goal, and then next week we will have a few pre-writing activities for you before we start writing our novels on November 1st!

If you are a teen* who wants to join our online classroom, send an e-mail to WAPLTeens@mcfls.org, and I will let you know how you can join us online. If you just want to join in, check out the official website: https://ywp.nanowrimo.org.

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie

*This year, we are hosting this program for writers in grades 6-12.
