NaNoWriMo Day 1

Happy first day of writing!

Hopefully the winter weather did not freeze out your inspiration, and you found some time to write today. If you are waiting for tonight, or just not sure how to start, make sure to set aside some time to write.

Planning time everyday to write is a great way to make sure you are successful. You all should have a word count goal, and that is what you ultimately want to reach. To get there, you need the time to write. Find your notebook, computer or tablet and start writing! Don't worry about if it's good, the first or the last chapter of your story, or even going to be in the final story. Just write!

On Monday, we'll have a writing prompt for those of you who may need some inspiration!

If you want to join our online classroom, send an email to WAPLTeens@mcfls.org and ask to join. This year, we are only hosting the program for writers in grades 6-12, and if you are younger than 13 you will need to get permission from a parent before you can join.

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie
