NaNoWriMo: Motivation Monday

Hello Teen Writers! I hope you all got a great start on your stories this weekend.

At this point, you are hopefully full of inspiration, and don't really need too much motivation to keep going. The tip today is more about keeping your ideas straight when you are really excited about writing.

To keep your writing more organized, when inspiration strikes for a different part of your story, don't switch to writing that. Write the idea down somewhere else, and keep going on what you are working on. This way, you don't loose the steam you've built with your current scene, but have that other idea waiting for when you need it.

Ideas of where to keep your ideas include a separate document on your computer, an old school journal, or even note cards.

The goal now is to meet your daily word count goals, and keep writing!

I'll see you @ the library!
Katie
