New Teen Program: Life Skills for Teens

Have you ever wondered what skills might help you as an adult? Do you ever wonder what they don't teach you in school? Are there things you depend on the adults in your life to take care of, but you think maybe you might need to know those things?

If you've ever wondered any of these things, then join us for our new Life Skills for Teens program.  Each session will have hands on activities so you can learn something new, that might not be taught in school.

The first session will be Thursday January 30th at 6:30 PM, and to ring in the New Year we will be talking about goal setting and journaling. We'll learn how to set goals and break them down, and then talk about how to track and adapt those goals so you can be successful. Here are other dates and topics:

February 20: Simple Kitchen Skills
March 26: Budgeting, Banking, and Saving
April 30: Get a Job: Job Searching, Resume Writing, and Interviewing

Life Skills events are for teens, or students in grades 6-12. All events are in the Library Constitution Room and start at 6:30 PM and will end at 8 PM. There is no registration for this event.

I'll see you @ the library.
