Registration for Strike-Out Poetry opens 2.4.2021!

We are going to take a page from someone else's book and create something new. Strike-out or black-out poetry is when you take a page from an old book, magazine or newspaper article, and mark out the words you don't want to use, to create a new poem!

Meet me on Zoom on February 11th at 6:30 PM, and I'll show you some amazing examples of these poems, and we'll even work on making our own poems!

This event is for those students in grades 6-12, and you can register by calling the library at 414-302-8500 or going online westallislibrary.org/events and clicking on Strike Out Poetry. 

Kits will be available in the library today also! So stop in when we are open, or call to schedule a curbside pickup.
